Pizza will be ready at 6:00 PM and the poker will start at 7:00 PM
I’m happy to report that we’ve had some really good news regarding the Derby.
First of all, Tony Chapman and the Sportsmen Club officers were willing to postpone the Club’s March Game Night so we can indeed hold our Friday night Derby Pizza and Poker party, as usual.
Secondly, Sportsmen Commodore Kevin McLemore has offered to donate plenty of fish to us this year so we’re now guaranteed after-party fish tacos, as usual.
Additionally, Damian Jones has so kindly agreed to donate to us all, for the second year in a row, a delicious breakfast the morning of the Derby. His cooking last year COULD NOT be beat! Rumor has it that biscuits and sausage gravy are on the menu this year…
Thank you so much Tony, the Sportsmen Club officers, Kevin and Damian for all your efforts. It’s so appreciated how you all have come together to help make this Derby so successful.
