Dave was a "Master Mechanic" for Contra Costa County. He worked on heavy equipment and all
 things mechanical. When we had the old swing gate at our entrance, Dave would often be out there keeping it
running. Dave was always very helpful when someone's boat had a hick-up. He was always happy to lend a hand
and come up with a fix.
